Our company’s effectiveness is enhanced by our strong connections with a diverse customer base, including UAP Heavy vehicles parts division, fleet operators, and OEMs, a vital aspect of our continued success. Jean Labrie
Founder and President
Jean Labrie brings over 30 years of invaluable experience in the trucking, trailer, and heavy-duty machinery industry to C8 Energy. As the founder, his vision was clear from the start: to create a sustainable future for road transportation by eliminating the dependency on lead-acid batteries. This initiative was driven by more than the desire to innovate; it was fueled by a commitment to reduce the sector's carbon footprint, one of the largest emitters of greenhouse gases in America.
Under his leadership, C8 Energy has developed a kit combining groundbreaking technology that not only decreases fuel consumption and maintenance time but also allows drivers the comfort of using essential electric accessories without the engine running. VP of Operations
Stéphane Tremblay, our Vice-President of Operations, merges nearly three decades of extensive experience in strategic planning and operations across various sectors, including transportation electrification. His proven expertise in business operations, feasibility studies, and strategy development is crucial to C8 Energy's mission to foster the transportation industry's shift towards decarbonization.
